As I sit here and listen to one of Nick’s favorite songs, the Spirit of Christmas, I am reminded how blessed I am to work for a company who believes in giving back to our communities, supporting our employees, and being surrounded by colleagues, friends and family who believe in kindness, generosity, gratitude, and happiness.
As we calculated the number of coats and donations received, tears welled in our eyes. “We did not do this alone and are overjoyed by the outpouring of support from friends, family, partners, clients, vendors, and colleagues. We hope a gift of a new coat to kids reminds them there is a community that cares about them,” said Nick Esterline, President and Founder of TGC Group.
We collected 491 coats, TGC matched 405 coats and 100 duffle bags, and delivered a total of 916 new coats and 100 duffle bags. TOP Learning Centers of Wichita, Kansas received 796 coats, Sunlight Children Services in Andover, Kansas received 100 coats and 100 duffle bags for the children they serve and we gave 20 coats to our employees whose children needed them.
Together, we are impacting over 1,000 kids in the community, and we are confident they will be warm this winter. We thank YOU!
